Seems like it was summer just a few days ago. Where does the time go? Alas, the calendar doesn’t lie and now that Halloween and the Midterms are behind us, it’s time we think about the holidays.
November is not just about Thanksgiving. November is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month. We’ve got lots of delish peanut butter cupcakes you can enjoy all month long. The Muddy Buddy cupcake on Wednesday and Saturday should fulfill your craving! Also, you’ll be surprised and delighted to know that November 10th is National Vanilla Cupcake day. We know a great place to celebrate! And don’t forget to pick up (one of) Mondays Flavor of the Day – Caramel Macchiato on November 19th for National Macchiato. November is also pie time. This Holiday Season come in and stuff yourself with a delicious pie. Our flavors this year are Cherry, Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan and Bourbon Pecan. AND, if you buy two pies, we’ll give you a third one at half price.
Some important dates you’ll need to know. Make sure you place your pie orders by MONDAY NOVEMBER 19th for Thanksgiving. We will be closed for Thanksgiving through the weekend (11/22, 11/23 and 11/24 and since we are closed on Sunday we’ll be back open on Monday 11/26.
Now let’s talk December. A month filled with holiday merriment, special cupcake flavors, Christmas cheer and anticipation of a brand new year. December 4th is National Cookie Day. As if anyone needed a reason to have a cookie, right? Also, while we think every day is National Cupcake day, it seems like the rest of the world set aside December 15th to celebrate. Make sure you stop by Happy Bakeshop and treat yourself to something sweet - you know, to observe the national day. Too many great food days to mention in December, but you can check it out here
We all know how busy and happy December is, so make sure you place your holiday orders well in advance. We need to have all orders for Christmas by FRIDAY DECEMBER 12/21. And, as we like to give our magical baking elves time off, we’ll be closing EARLY at 2pm on Christmas Eve. We’ll be open again on December 27. Then we’ll close again to celebrate the New Year on January 1st and 2nd.
