Time sure flies when you're happy. It doesn't seem possible that July 2 will mark the halfway point of 2022. The bakery is buzzing with custom treats, new flavors and more. We’re excited to tell you all about it.
4th of July
This year the 4th of July holiday is on a Monday. And, as we’re already closed on Mondays, our hours will remain the same. Make sure to grab your Independence Day goodies before 4:00 pm on Sunday the 3rd. Starting on July 1st, we’ll have some festive treats in the bakery:
· Red, white and blue sprinkles on cupcakes
· Fun summertime cookie shapes like popsicles, stars, ice cream cones and suns
· Mini pies in Cherry, pecan and bourbon pecan
If this list gets you thinking about something special for our 4th, let us know!
July 8th Birthdays
Two of our team are celebrating birthdays on July 8th, and we want you to celebrate with us. Enjoy $2 Vanilla on Vanilla and Chocolate on Chocolate cupcakes all day. You don’t even have to sing “Happy Birthday!”
July 24th Special Event
Look for us at the Rainbow Wedding Network Event on July 24th at Lionsgate Event Center. We’ll be there with lots of other awesome wedding vendors so don’t miss out. It’ll be an afternoon of “inspirational ideas for Your Special Day, community connections and a true celebration of equality!” and of course FREE SAMPLES, great wedding ideas and prizes! You can find more information here.
Special Orders for your Special Event
Before placing your order, check out our order form page for minimum lead times. There can be times when the bakery is unusually busy with custom orders. We strongly recommend placing your order as soon as you know what you need.
And, if you're unsure what you need, call us, and we'd be happy to share some ideas!

Watch Your Treats in the Heat
As temperatures rise, we remind everyone to take care of their cakes, cupcakes, cookies and treats. Your hot car is no place for a Happy Bakeshop treat. Our best practices are below. We’ll also put this inside each box, so you don’t forget:
For CUPCAKES, BARS AND COOKIES: not too hot and not too cold (no fridge and no hot or cold cars). Just wrap in plastic and store at room temperature.
For CAKES: they are happiest a little cooler. Store in the fridge, no need to wrap.
Tee-Shirts, Fanny Packs, Coffee Mugs, Oh My!
Show your Happy Bakeshop love with a fun fanny pack, a cool coffee mug or a hot hoodie. Ok, July is probably not the best time for a hoodie, but it WILL come in handy this fall. And, if you've got an idea for a cupcake-themed design, let us know; we're always looking for a fun new design! Shop here.
Don’t Forget: Highlands Farmer’s Market on Sundays
Check out the market because it is fun, with tons of great vendors. And if you're stopping by the bakery, remember that traffic and parking will be slightly different.
