In 2006, three friends had a dream to open a business – a cupcake bakery that could bring sweet treats and happiness to their customers. Happy Cakes was born after some hard work, late nights and early mornings.

Why “Happy Cakes?” Our original owner, Sara's two-year-old son, was (and still is) a huge cake fan. Whenever he saw a birthday cake, he would call them "Happy Cakes!" The perfect name for a bakery! Who doesn't want to be happy? And who isn't happy when they're eating cake?

Jumping ahead nearly 20 years, we are now “Happy Bakeshop,” and we are still here, still happy and better than ever.

Since our beginning, we've seen our cupcakes on the TODAY SHOW, in magazines and at more parties, weddings and events than we can count. As times have changed, so have our name and location, but we still love to make the same amazing cupcakes (plus cakes, pies, cookies, French macarons, bars, and more!).
