Happy Bakeshop Enters a Sweet New Chapter Under New Ownership

Happy Bakeshop, a beloved fixture in Denver’s historic Highlands neighborhood, is excited to announce a change in ownership. The decades-old bakery is now owned and operated by Fayth Hernandez and Miguel Chavez, who are committed to honoring the shop’s legacy while looking toward its future.

Hernandez and Chavez say they are thrilled to step into stewardship of Happy Bakeshop and to keep the neighborhood favorite open and thriving.

“Happy Bakeshop has been part of this community for so many years,” said the new owners. “We feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to carry on its tradition and continue serving the Highlands neighborhood we love so much.”

Customers can expect to see the same familiar menu favorites that have made Happy Bakeshop a staple over the years. At the same time, the new owners are excited to introduce a few new items down the road, bringing fresh ideas while staying true to the
bakery’s roots.

“Our goal is to respect what people already love about Happy Bakeshop,” Hernandez and Chavez added. “We’re not here to change its heart, just to build on it.”

Happy Bakeshop first opened its doors in 2006 as “Denver’s original gourmet cupcake
bakery.” Since their opening they have remained dedicated to quality, community, and the warm, welcoming spirit that has defined it for nearly decades. The bakery looks forward to continuing to serve longtime customers while welcoming new ones for years to come.
